Latest buzz from Vancouver Wedding Photographer Blü Studio Photography
The Chapel at Queen Elizabeth Park is one of our favourite places to shoot and even though it was raining on and off on Dan & Laura’s wedding day, we were very excited to be there! A whole bunch of the family was from England so that was especially fun for me (Paul)! I got to talk about football with somebody who was picturing an oval shaped ball and heavily padded players… we were talking about proper football! Shame they supported Wolves but somebody has to I suppose.
We visited a few different locations on Isaac & Claire’s wedding day. We began at Claire’s parent’s house for some getting ready shots of the girls. Then it was on to Queen Elizabeth Park to meet the guys. Due to logistical reasons, the couple had decided to take their family pictures and couple shots before the ceremony. So, we set up a “first look” moment for them. It went perfectly and was very emotional for all involved.
Mike and Bowie were already married when we shot their wedding reception in Queen Elizabeth Park this past June. They held their ceremony overseas and so this was an opportunity for all their family and friends, who couldn’t make it to the wedding, to get together and celebrate with the couple.
We began by shooting some family pictures in Queen Elizabeth Park before heading in to the Seasons in the Park restaurant for lunch. Then it was back outside for a tea ceremony in the park! A very nice day with some very nice people!
