Yaletown Engagement Session {Zahid & Salima}

No sneaky peek 2 for this shoot! We got excited yesterday as we were editing and completed the whole session quicker than expected. So here are our favourites from the final collection!

The day began outside the Roundhouse Community Centre with a great shoot up against the old brickwork. There was a bit of construction happening around the turntable out front of the building but we were able to pick our angles and keep it out of the shots! Phew! There’s nothing worse than arranging to meet at a location only to find construction going on!

Stanley Park Engagement Session {David & Marie}

We met with David and Marie last weekend at Stanley Park in Vancouver. The shoot began in the Rose Garden before we made our way around the park stopping off at a few select locations along the way. It was a funny day weather wise. The start of the shoot was warm and very sunny. This gradually turned into overcast, very cold and a few spots of rain. Thankfully we were finished before it decided to rain a little harder.

At one point we were shooting in the same location as a newly married couple. I think we all felt pretty bad for the bride… strapless wedding dress + blustery cold wind = miserable. Still, they seemed to be getting through it so good for them!

Coal Harbour E-Session {Dean & Lauren}

We were very excited when Dean and Lauren said they wanted to have their couples session down by Coal Harbour. It’s a great spot with some really neat photo opportunities. We started at Canada Place and made our way towards the Westin Bayshore. Although we didn’t go quite as far as the hotel we found plenty of photo locations both on the waterfront and up into town a little bit.

Enjoy this selection of images from the shoot and feel free to leave us a comment at the end!

Olympic Village E-Session {Isaac & Claire}

The engagement session we shot for Isaac & Claire was our first visit to the Olympic Village. It was quite a shock to walk out into the main square and be confronted by 2 giant sparrows! However, we recovered quickly and got on with the shoot! It was a great place for this kind of photography since the Olympic Village is a bit of a ghost town right now :) I’m sure things will pick up down there but when we shot this session there was hardly anybody about.

Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment. We always appreciate a comment at the end of the post!
